When I’m not rebuilding vintage motorcycles, I’m noodling around in the wood shop. I love creating furniture with a functional purpose. This desk was built for a musician, Jeff, and was all about ergonomics. The user knee fits right under the piano keys, which fits right under the desk top filled with abelton controls, which fits right under the monitor riser with speaker mounts positioned right at ear level. It felt like I was tailoring a garment but instead I was making a desk. I attempted to make a zero waste desk and use every scrap of drop, so I created a matching swivel stool. Rock on Jeff!
