Installation:
starbucks hq + shipping container lobby
I’m passionate about designing environments that create a strong sense of identity and connection. I focus on the details that transform environments into memorable and meaningful experiences.
For the remodeled Starbucks headquarters in Seattle’s historic SODO district, I helped create workspace dividers inspired by the neighborhood’s maritime heritage. Twisted twine screens referenced nautical rigging while adding texture and softness to the interior. I managed on-site installation, developed technical drawings for custom hanging brackets, and sourced materials to execute the design with precision and authenticity.
In a Seattle apartment lobby project, I drew inspiration from the city’s industrial waterfront and the omnipresence of shipping containers to develop custom container wall cladding that established a welcoming, recognizable sense of place. My role included sourcing the container materials, coordinating with laser-cut fabrication vendors, and producing custom cut files to bring the concept to life.
